The Gropius Spheric Ottoman by Noom is a part of their new Gropius furniture collection, paying tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus School's founding in Germany. The collection embodies the principles of functionalism, conciseness, and the fusion of craft and art, resulting in buildings and objects that feature simple geometric shapes. This modernist approach, championed by Noom, is a nod to the pioneering minds who brought these principles to life.
Created by Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova, this collection's shape was “gathered” from balls and cylinders. This small round cushion and an ottoman appeal to playful interaction with the chair.
