The Caprice Chair was designed by the Italian master, Marcello Ziliani, in 2007. The design was updated with this popular wood leg base in 2011 giving the chair a softer character.
The Caprice Chair was born from the image of a tape that moves freely in space, creating a kind of "three-dimensional lace" where the gaps are significant. The peculiarity and uniqueness of this perforated body required sophisticated research prior to the implementation of manufacturing.
