The Eero Saarinen No. 71 Chair, commonly referred to as the Saarinen Executive Armchair, was initially designed and developed in 1945 - 1948. It was introduced in 1950 after the side chair version. The chair has many of the same curves seen in Saarinen's Womb Chair, developed in the same period.
The No. 71 Chair has become a popular chair for both residential and office use due to its timeless lines and functionality in so many environments.
